About Kampung Agong
Kampung Agong located in mainland Penang. Kampung Agong was transformed by a private owner as an attempt to create a replica of olden kampung life. The owner named the place 'Agong' after the nickname of his grandfather who was the owner of the coconut farm since 1942. Now visitors can take photos all around the space as well as participate in a variety of village activities.
Attractions
Kampung Agong have a lot of attraction that can enthuse the visitor or tourist who are visited this place and make this place as a place for their vacation. You can get to see a beautiful view at here like other beautiful place that they visited such as Bali and others.
Among of the attractions that are famous there are giant’s bird nest and hanging nests. For giant's bird nest, we can sit in there and take a photo. Trust me, if you find the perfect angle, the picture will come out beautifully. The hanging nest actually inspired by burung tempua nest and there are three of them.
Also, we can find swings that look just like in Bali. They have six swings in the area and there are facing the paddy fields. Kampung Agong also have the mini jetty that are facing a pond filled with water lilies. This is the attraction for tourist because its only here that they can see the unique decorative like this. Only in Kampung Agong can we see unique and interesting decorations like this while enjoying the atmosphere full of greenery.
Beside that they also provide homestay to visitor or tourist to stay so it will make the tourist will be easier to find place to stay and they also can spend more time at here. The charge per nights also very affordable. It's only about RM100.
Things To Do Here
Traveling to Kampung Agong is not in vain because we can explore this place because here has a very beautiful scenery and we get closer to nature.
At here they also provide bicycle for tourist who want to use it when explore the place. So, it will make the tourist feel more easier when exploring there and it's can help them to be more energetic and not get tired easily. They can rent the bicycle and the price very affordable because it's only RM5 and then they can cycle around the place.
Beside that, we can also experience doing various village activities such as picking coconut, fishing and learning how to weave coconut leaves into coconut brooms. It's can leave a really good experience to us. We can also running while flying kites at there because there is a lot of space there.
We also can take a lot of photo at here because they have a lot of place that really unique and beautiful place such as the hanging nest and others that was provide kampung Agong. Malay costume also was providing and selling at here, so we can wear it while taking picture and be matches with kampung theme. It will make the visitor or tourist trying out different type of photoshoot and create beautiful memories with their family and friends.

Kampung Agung operates daily and tourists can start coming from 9 am to 7 pm. So, they don’t need to worry if they don’t have enough time to visit here because this place are open every day and they can visit here anytime when they have leisure time.
